Vulnerable Women & Children in Wake County

The majority of people going through homeless and crisis centers in Wake County are women and children. Neither the WIC program nor SNAP (formally food stamps) covers the cost of diapers and feminine hygiene products. The most vulnerable of Wake County’s women and children need our help.

Between now and Monday, February 12, 2018, we’re collecting feminine hygiene products (tampons, pads, panty liners), baby wipes, and diapers of all sizes to be donated to the Raleigh Rescue Mission and Tri-Area Ministry in Wake Forest.

A marked donation bin will be located in the front lobby of Lifepointe Church’s North Raleigh location at 9500 Durant Road. Goods must be donated no later than Monday, February 12th. All donations will be dropped off in time for Valentine’s Day.

Spread the Word!

Not only do we want you to participate in giving generously to those in need, we want you to invite others to join in as well! Please share this service project with your coworkers, your neighbors, on your community Facebook pages,, and any other “community” of which you’re a member. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how generous your neighbors can be.

NO woman should have to worry about covering her time of the month or her sweet baby’s bottom. Period.
