Red Cross In Need of Comfort Kit Supplies

One of the very first items an American Red Cross Disaster Services Volunteer gives to a disaster victim is a Comfort Kit. Comfort Kits are given to victims of both small and large disasters. American Red Cross responds 24 hours a day to provide assistance to families who have just lost everything they own due to a house fire. Families suffering from these disasters need our help to begin their road to recovery.

Your volunteer group can assemble Comfort Kits for the Red Cross.

Purchase these items and package them in one-gallon zip lock bags:

  • Twin blade razor
  • Shave gel
  • Toothbrush
  • Travel size toothpaste
  • Travel size body wash
  • Travel size hand lotion
  • Travel size shampoo
  • Full size deodorant
  • Facial tissues
  • Washcloth
  • Comb

** Kids also receive kits that contains a child size toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, bar of soap, washcloth, coloring book and crayons.
