Provide Hope & Encouragement

Interested in Bible studies or writing letters to provide hope and encouragement? Christian Library International needs assistance with the following areas to advance Christ’s light in prisons across the U.S.

1. Bible Study Review: CLI Bible Ministers review inmate Bible study lessons and offer encouraging comments and Bible verses. Answer keys for the lessons and online training are provided. Bible study review can be done from home or at our office. Applications are required before these volunteers are trained.

2. Letter Writing: CLI Letter Ministers respond to the dozens of letters that CLI receives each week. They have the opportunity to lift up inmates’ prayer requests, answer their questions, share the gospel with them, and connect them to our Christian Leadership study. Online training is provided, and letters can be answered from home or at our office. Applications are required before these volunteers are trained.

About Christian Library International

The mission of CLI is to advance Christ’s light in prisons. Since its founding in 1996, CLI has helped thousands of incarcerated men and women find new hope in the healing powers of Christ. We do this by collecting and distributing used Christian books and Bibles to 1,600 prisons in all 50 states. CLI is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. Although we serve US prisons in all 50 states, most of our books and financial donors come from North Carolina.
