Habitat for Humanity Home Preservation Volunteers

Home Preservation volunteers are repairing more than just homes.

Volunteers 14 years of age and older can work with Home Preservation program to complete minor external repairs, exterior painting and cleaning with homeowners who are unable to afford this work. Each home repaired is a part of a greater Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative that increases community engagement, decreases crime and helps neighborhoods thrive.

About Habitat for Humanity

Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Changing a plot of dirt into a house is dramatic, but the real change is what happens when a family transitions out of poverty housing. At Habitat for Humanity, our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Affordable homeownership makes new opportunities available to these families and their children, including savings, a sense of security, space to grow, and good neighbors.

Habitat Wake is an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical housing ministry.
