Food Shuttle Garden Gallop 5K

Join us on March 17, 2018, for the second annual Food Shuttle Garden Gallop 5K to benefit the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s Growing School Gardens program! We welcome everyone of every age! Run, walk, or even gallop to help people in our community!

This year the Food Shuttle Garden Gallop 5K will benefit the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s Growing School Gardens program, which supports high need schools in Wake and Durham counties as they build school gardens and work to incorporate garden based learning into the school day!

All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Growing School Gardens program to help provide new resources to schools in our community!

About Inter-Faith Food Shuttle

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is an innovative hunger-relief organization serving seven counties in and around the Triangle. We believe hunger IS fixable if the community works together to do two things: create sources of healthy food in every low-income neighborhood and grow opportunities for people to provide for themselves by learning job skills or growing their own food. From BackPack Buddies to nutrition education, mobile markets to culinary job training to urban agriculture training, we go directly to people in need and create what works to empower them. We feed. We teach. We grow… to create a hunger-free and healthy community.
